Prof. Ezri Tarazi
Head of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
Ezri is the head of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at the Technion. World-renowned designer, creator, curator, theorist and entrepreneur. Full professor and head of the program for advanced studies in industrial design at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technion. He previously served as a full professor and head of the Department of Industrial Design at Bezalel, the Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. The “Tarazi Studio” he established provided consulting services in the fields of design and strategy, design management, industrial design and interface design to the largest companies in the Israeli market and was a partner in the establishment of many start-up companies. His works as a designer have been shown in many exhibitions in Israel and abroad and published in magazines around the world.

Prof. Reuven Katz

Prof. Reuven Katz
Director of Operations and Projects
Reuven is the Director of Operations and Projects at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and of Education in Science and Technology (retired) at the Technion. He is also the Director of the Center for Manufacturing Systems and Robotics at Technion Mechanical Engineering Faculty. He received his BSc and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he worked as Faculty for 10 years, and his MBA degree from the Recanati School of Management at the University of Tel Aviv. He worked for 28 years at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, and was co-founder of the startup Senso-Optics.

Sigalit Koren

Sigalit Koren
Director of Education and Training
Sigalit Koren is an expert in instruction, learning, and education in both the formal and informal education systems. Sigalit has held multiple diverse positions as an instructor and in education and management, in the Israel Defense Forces (as the head of the military’s commander school) and in hi-tech (Amdocs). These experiences have led her to develop her vision for a field that combines formal and practical methods with innovative, dynamic methods. Sigalit has a B.Ed and an M.Ed., both with honors. Sigalit has also undertaken additional training in the education field, such as the Michael method (fulfilling individual potential to attain excellence) and a teaching course according to the Montessori method of education (NAMC).

Ohad Yaniv

Ohad Yaniv
Head of the BizTEC accelerator program
Ohad is the head of the BizTEC accelerator program and director of projects at the Entrepreneurship and innovation center at the Technion. He is responsible for planning and directing the BizTEC’s strategic and long-range goals as well as the accelerator’s day to day operations & activities. He is passionate about solving complex challenges with technological tools and creative mindset. Ohad works with talented entrepreneurs to create the next generation of great companies. Ohad is also the founder of Yaniv Mobile Solutions – a boutique app development and design studio that worked with top brands including Albar Car Rental, Dollar Thrifty, MOE’s Teachers accelerator, Former PM Ehud Barak’s Atzmaut Party and many more to create innovative market-leading products and services. Ohad is also a volunteering board member at IMMRAC.

Dr. Sara Lev

Dr. Sara Lev
Head of the Start-Up MBA Track
Sara Lev leads the Start-Up MBA program joint program of t-hub and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering and Management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and master’s and doctoral degrees in business strategy and entrepreneurship (all from the Technion). Her professional expertise lies in the intersections between academia, technology, and business, and she has extensive experience in developing, implementing, and teaching entrepreneurship and business strategy. She was the CEO of Lev TurnAround, leading the company to develop operations promoting entrepreneurship in East Africa, mainly Tanzania. Prior to that, she developed and managed Carmel, the economic company of the University of Haifa, for six years. She also has several years’ experience in the hi-tech startup industry, and was a research fellow at the INSEAD business school in Fontainebleau, France.

Dina Raphael, Ph.D.

Dina Raphael, Ph.D.
Director of Entrepreneurial Leadership Secondary Specialization Program
Dina is a lecturer of Ethics and Technology at Technion Humanities and Arts Department. She is an experienced IT Project Manager in charge of evaluation, conception, execution, and completion, teaches Success skills for Entrepreneurship, and a SAP ERP and Disaster Recovery Systems Expert. A former DBA and Infrastructure manager at Netvision for 5 years, and Head of DBA and Infrastructure for 10 years at Rafael Advanced Defense Systems.

Gady Paran

Gady Paran
Director of Marketing
Gady is t-hub’s Director of Marketing and works simultaneously as Bar-Ilan University’s STEM Brand Manager (Exact Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering, Neuro Sciences, Medicine). He is an Industry – Academia Relations Expert, and leads Collaborations between the two Sectors on behalf of the Technion since 2007. He serves as key liaison and advisor to Industry and Academia partners, lectures on Industry – Academia Relations, and works with Students, Faculty, Alumni and Companies across Industry, to develop and deploy win-win innovative initiatives to address the needs of Industry and Academia alike.

Hila Roditki

Hila Roditki
Purchasing and Administration Manager
Hila manages the procurement and administration at the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to that, she served for 8 years as a team manager at Partner Communications, and was a shift manager in charge of dealing with cellular fraud in Israel and abroad. In her military service, she served as a psychotechnical diagnoser. Hila holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology.
