Mehoudar Center for inventors was founded in the Technion to serve as a leading professional platform and a unique space for experimentation.
The center provides inventors with training, promotes creativity and innovation and serves as a home for the inventors' community. The center invites individuals, companies and organizations of every discipline to connect and create groundbreaking works.
Raphael (Rafi) Mehoudar, Founding donor of the "Mehoudar Center for Inventors at the Technion"
Rafi Mehoudar, inventor of the drip technology, a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion, a world-renowned inventor and the owner of 400 patents.
Rafi Mehoudar is an expert in hydraulics and an entrepreneur of irrigation products who developed the dripper technology for the Netafim company which was an international success.
In 2015, Mehoudar was chosen to light a beacon on Independence Day. "The invention of the drippers was a breakthrough in the field of agriculture in Israel and around the world, and contributed to tremendous savings in irrigation water," the committee wrote, "the drippers made it possible to develop agriculture even in arid areas in famine-stricken countries."
Rafi Mehoudar also contributes to cancer research and advises young inventors.

Boaz Drori
Director
With over 20 years of experience as a design and creative director in Israeli and international companies in the fields of design and product development.
Boaz led development, design and innovation processes, managing multifaceted design teams, formulating strategies and initiating innovative products.
Boaz lectures in the industrial design department at the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) and was a lecturer for many years at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design. Boaz is also a painter and illustrator.

Tom Sofer
Mentor
A graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technion. A Maker with a wide experience in the makers arena: setting up,management and operation. Currently, he is the director of the IOT laboratory at the Faculty of Computer Science at the Technion.
